Fleece Tankies - Plain Colours

PLEASE READ THE BELOW MEASURING INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE ORDERING AS THESE TANKIES CANNOT BE RETURNED

Fleece tankies made with a single layer of plain coloured polar fleece for the main body and a double layered fleece collar with a plain coloured fleece lining inside and plain coloured fleece cuffs and trim of your choice

The collar also has a trim of the inside colour visible as a nice contrast

Choose your plain fleece outer colour and a plain fleece inner collar and trim colour and I will make them to order

Fleece Colour 2 refers to the plain coloured fleece for the inside of the collar and trim

How to measure:

*the tankies take more measurements than the coats so please refer to the size table and measuring guide and measure carefully. If your dog is coming up between sizes I would recommend sizing up. The chest measurement is extremely important, do not go by just your dog's back or existing coat measurent alone. You must measure all the areas on the how to measure diagram and refer to the size guide table

You can find the measuring diagram on the how to measure page and the image is also below. First take the circumference of the deepest part of the chest loosely, then the measurement from the base of the neck/shoulder blades to the base of the tail for the back measurement and the circumference of the largest part of the neck for the neck measurement.

If your dog is inbetween any of the measurements on the size guide then I advise sizing up

Please refer to the size tables for these to choose your correct size tankie. For reference Izzy is 23" back length with 26" chest and is wearing the XL whippet in baby pink and mid grey fleece. Finn is 24" back length with 27.5" chest and is wearing the XXL whippet in dark teal with a dark grey trim.

The tankies are designed to come up slightly shorter in length than the jammies and have a more 'bum hugging' appearance so they can be worn under other coats in the colder weather or just as they are for cooler spring months

The tankies can also have a harness hole added. This will be vertical along the back seam of the tankie.

To measure for a harness hole take the measurement from the shoulder blades to where you would like the hole to be, this measurement will be approximately the centre of the hole in the tankie

The fabrics are ordered in and not held in stock so please allow 4 weeks for your tankie to be made and ready for despatch. I will send you an email to confirm when your order is being processed and will send you a picture of your finished tankie when it is ready

Not all dogs like having their legs bent to go into the jammies and tankies, if you think your dog may not like this then please take a look at the fleece coats as an alternative option

If your dog suffers from neck or spine issues then these tankies may not be suitable as they involve bending to put on. I would recommend a fleece coat as an alternative option

Washing Instructions:

These jammies are made with a polar fleece fabric. They can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Gently pull back into shape and leave to drip dry

The tankies wash well as the pictures in this listing were taken after the tankies had been washed as in true Finn style he rolled his in fox poo before I could take the initial modelling shots

If there are issues with static this can be resolved by using a fabric conditioner when washing or rubbing the jammies with a dryer sheet
