Plain Soft Shell Outdoor Onesies

PLEASE READ THE BELOW MEASURING INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE ORDERING AS THESE ONESIES CANNOT BE RETURNED

These sighthound outdoor onesies are made from breathable soft shell fabric which has a fleece backing (inner) -  fabric pattern choices can be found by clicking here

They are lighteight but also windproof and showerproof. The whippet beasts have been testing these out on daytrips at the beach and also muddy wet walks. Whilst they are not monsoon proof they will keep your hound warm and dry on a wet walkies 

They have an extra long neck which has a drawstring closure which means they can be pulled up around the ears for extra coverage. The chest is elasticated just like the fleece jammies and the legs on these onesies are also elasticated around the cuffs

They also all come with a reflective strip along the back just like the waterproof coats and also have the option of an additional harness hole  

To order; choose your waterproof fabric outer pattern, select the additional options and size from the dropdown menu and they will be made to order

How to measure:

These onesies take more measurements than the coats so please refer to the size table and measuring guide and measure carefully. If your dog is coming up between sizes I would recommend sizing up. The chest measurement is extremely important, do not go by just your dog's back or existing coat measurent alone. You must measure all the areas on the how to measure diagram and refer to the size guide table

You can find the measuring diagram on the how to measure page and the image is also below. First take the circumference of the deepest part of the chest loosely, then the measurement from the base of the neck/shoulder blades to the base of the tail for the back measurement and the circumference of the largest part of the neck for the neck measurement. 

If your dog is inbetween any of the measurements on the size guide then I advise sizing up as this fabric has no stretch

I can add a harness hole and/or neck lead hole in the onesies. For a harness hole please measure from the dog's shoulder blades (Point A in the below diagram) to where the hole needs to be in inches and put this measurement in the box in the listing. This measurement will then be approx. the centre of the hole. Harness holes are made to run vertically along the back seam of the onesie only.

Neck lead holes will be positioned in the middle of the neck of the onesie

A zip back can be added to the onesies. To order a zip back add-on you must also add the zip back add-on listing to your basket which can be found here (please note: a harness hole cannot be added alongside the zip back addition)

The fabrics are ordered in and not held in stock so please allow 4 weeks for the onesie to be made and ready for despatch. I will send you an email to confirm when your order is being processed and will send you a picture of your finished coat when it is ready

Not all dogs like to be manouvered into clothing so please make sure that your dog is ok with this before ordering 

Washing Instructions:

These soft shell onesies can be washed in a washing machine at 30 degrees. If they are only lightly soiled then a sponge wash will suffice

Do NOT use fabric softener when washing as this could impair the water resistant qualities of the fabric

Hang to dry or tumble dry on a short low setting which can reactivate the water resitency of the fabric. They can also be retreated with Nikwax or similar waterproofing treatments for soft shell fabric
